In just two years time, young representatives of your country will be arriving here, in the Isle of Man, to compete in the Commonwealth Youth Games.
What we want to do in this initial newsletter is to give you a picture of our Island, our history and our people. We will show you where the sports will be held and give you a series of contact numbers.
In following newsletters, we will expand on the work being done to make these Games a great success.
The Organising Committee has been working for three years, since the Island first knew that “The Games” would be here in 2011. In that time a great deal of progress has been made in ensuring the infrastructure will be in place as regards accommodation, transport, entertainment and sports facilities.
