With only 400 days to go until the start of the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games a message is sent to all Commonwealth Games Associations from Mr Geoff Karran, Chairman and Games Director, CYG2011 Organising Committee.

Just 400 days to the Opening of the 4th Commonwealth Youth Games and the Isle of Man is getting very excited at the prospect of welcoming people from all Commonwealth Countries.
Hotel accommodation is booked but until all nations indicate to us whether or not they are going to attend we cannot start the process of allocating nations to specific hotels.
Our preferred agent Regency Travel is ready and willing to advise and help you make your bookings for getting to the Island.
The arrangements for the 7 sports are well advanced and we hope you are going to send your top young sportsmen and women so that we can be sure of great competition.
We have been fortunate to welcome representatives from several nations visiting our Island in the past months and we have learned about a lot of the problems you normally face when attending any Games.
We hope to do everything within our power to make your visit to our Island one that you will remember for all the right reasons. The Manx people are well known for their friendliness and hospitality, and are ready to give you a right warm welcome.

• We want to see great sporting achievements in a friendly Games
• We want to see good weather (Can anyone do anything to help us with this one?)
